Zoya Ignite Swatches and Review

*press sample*

Good afternoon!

As promised, here is the other half of Zoya's newest collection for fall, Ignite. I'm seriously loving these shades! I don't know why, but I just love the jewel toned polishes that are so full of depth that we usually see for fall.

Autumn, appropriately named, is a copper shade with a golden shimmer.

Yuna is a gunmetal grey with a golden shimmer.

Remy is a darker, tad more blue version of Zoya's much loved Charla. So if you love that one, you're gonna love this one!

Teigen is a magenta/berry shade that's just gorgeous! This one's a fave of mine.

India is a cranberry/wine with a golden shimmer. I love this one as well.

Sansa is a deep purple with golden shimmer. OK, so I love this one too. I feel like one can never have too many purples! ;)

The Ignite collection is pretty much a perfect fall collection. I'm so excited to wear it this season! Formula wise these are all manageable and easy to apply. The lighter shades required 3 thin coats for coverage and the darker ones just 2.

Are you ladies loving this collection as much as I am?

Zoya Entice Swatches and Review

Hello!

Ready for Zoya's fall 2014 collection? I've got the first half today! The Entice collection is "inspired by the classic wools, textured brocades and metallic accents of the season, Zoya's new ENTICE & IGNITE collections create a palette of lush, deep color including wines, browns, navies and greys."

 Nyssa, a milk chocolate brown.

Genevieve, a blue-ish/gunmetal grey.

Margo is a nice plum shade.

Claire is a dark, vampy burgundy.

Veronica is is a wine shade. One of my favorites!

Ryan is a dark indigo shade. My photo has a lot of light reflecting off of it so it looks a couple shades lighter than it really is for some reason.

Overall, these are perfect shades for fall. They look great on their own but are also perfect bases for nail art as well. Zoya does the creme formula really well. The only one that was a bit thinner and more watery was Genevieve. I had to do 3 thin coats instead of two thicker ones for coverage.

The Entice collection is currently available at zoya.com for $9/bottle.

Keep an eye out for the Ignite half of the fall collection here on the blog soon!

Milani Color Statement Quick Swatches and Review

*press sample*

Hi readers!

By now, you've all seen that Milani has released a new 36 piece collection called Color Statement. There's a great range of colors and finishes. I hate to be lame and not include real nail swatches but since I have been in the midst of moving, nail wheels are the best I can do! :)

The majority of the formulas in this line were pretty great. Milani has a history of creating quality formula polishes. A few of the lighter pastels shades were more streaky and thick than the others but that's the only notable negative I've seen. There is also a batch of sheers that would have been pointless to share on swatch wheels, but would be perfect for french manicures. A quick dry top coat is also included and I've been using it for a while now and really like it!

These retail for $3.99 and can be found at CVS.

Any shades you are adding to your wish list?

Zoya Naturel Deux (2) Collection Swatches and Review

*press sample*

Hello readers!

I know it's still gonna be pretty warm where I live for a while, but this time of year I start itching to wear sweaters, leggings, and boots (my go-to cool weather outfit) and burn fall scented candles.

Zoya has created a neutral collection to help bridge from summer into fall so now I can get a little taste of fall in summer. ;) The Naturel Deux (2) are all cremes in brown and plum shades. I never met a Zoya creme I didn't like and these are no different...total perfection. Let's take a look!

Spencer is a light tan.

Chanelle is a milk chocolate shade.  So yummy!

And the last of the browns is Emilia. I love how rich and dark this one is.

The first plum shade is Madeline, a mauve-y shade.

Aubrey is a perfect plum color.

Marnie is a dark, deep plum.

My favorite are the darkest shades of the two colors. I think these are great for easing into fall and all the earth tones and vampy colors I tend towards then.

You can buy the Naturel Deux (2) collection at zoya.com for $9/bottle and are available now!

Any shades you guys are eyeing?
