Candy Stripe Nail Art with Zoya's Bubbly Collection

I wanted to share with you some fun summery nail art I did with the shades from Zoya's new Bubbly collection! This was quite simple to achieve and I believe anyone can do it.

I started with a white base and placed striping tape diagonally across the nail. I used all 6 Bubbly shades and painted in 1 coat in each section rotating the colors.

This reminded me of one of those huge lollipops with the rainbow swirled in it!

Mermaid Nails!

*press sample*

Good morning!

Remember my post from yesterday? I told you I did some pretty over the top nail art on it and that's what I am showing you today! Even though it's not what I typically wear all the time, I loved how it turned out and wearing it for a few days was fun too. These remind me of a mermaid...

Supplies used: Base- Misa Fountain of Youth
Glitter gradient with China Glaze Glistening Snow and OPI Pirouette My Whistle.
Pearls from Born Pretty Store, star confetti glitter from my stash

Surprisingly, the pearls stayed on really well and they were only stuck in wet polish, no nail glue or anything. I actually had to use foil to get them completely off!

It's kinda fun to be more crazy with your nails every once in a while!

Find the pearls I used from Born Pretty *here*. And get another 10% off your order with my code: AMG10. :)

Lavender and Gold with a little Help from Born Pretty

*press sample*

Good afternoon!

Today I have some pretty simple nail art that is also really quick and easy to spice up a base color. These are the supplies I used to achieve it, both from Born Pretty Store.

I used the middle striping brush and the gold rhinestones. These rhinestones are sold separately come in all the colors shown below. These have a different look to them compared to rhinestones I have used in the past...I definitely like these better!

My base color also comes from Born Pretty, I really like this dusty lavender with all the gold shimmer. I have to say though, this sucker was pretty thick. I added some thinner to help make it more manageable. I then added stripes on my ring finger and a rhinestone at the base of my others.

These sort of remind me of wedding nails or something you would wear in the spring as opposed to the summer. :P

You can find all these products from Born Pretty Store:

My 4th of July Nail Art Roundup!

Hello!

I hope everyone had a fabulous weekend.

I really enjoy doing holiday nail art and 4th of July is no exception. Since it's only one day, I decided to make this week all about patriotic nail art! I love to revisit things I have done in the past to see how I have improved and enjoy whatever look I came up with at the time all over again. So I put together a little post of what I have done the past few years for my 4th of July manis. The rest of the week I will be featuring my current manis from this year to celebrate. Maybe you will get an idea or two!

This is from 2 years ago...you can probably tell! haha I think my nails/photos have come pretty far and improved in just about every way since then...still a fun design though.

The next 2 are from last year:

If you have any questions about what polishes/supplies I used, feel free to ask. :)

The possibilities are endless with holiday nail art and I look forward to seeing what all you awesome ladies come up with this year as well as sharing with you my looks for this year!
