Pink Wednesday: Wet N Wild Sparked

Hi you guys! I am finally posting for Pink Wednesday again...I swear it's been like a month since I did it. :/
I am excited about this polish today though...it's definitely a new favorite! I was so underwhelmed by drugstore polishes until I used this. Now I have a little hope. ;) I bought this quite a while ago when the Wet N Wild Polishes were on sale for .69 at Walgreens...can't beat that! This is Sparked. And I am more than pleased with the quality... this is 3 coats, but I really could have gotten away with 2. The other thing I love is that the finish isn't gritty and with a coat of Seche Vite- PERFECTION!

These swatches are before the Seche:

I played around with my dotting tools to come up with this simple design. I haven't been up for anything too hardcore lately as you probably have noticed! I used Zoya Areej and Breezi, as well as Orly Green with Envy for the dots. Then I added Seche Vite, and dare I say- is there such as thing as a TOO shiny mani? I had a hard time finding the perfect lighting angle for these pics!

Detail shot- ignore the cuticle mess! :)

So there is my long time coming Pink Wednesday... can't wait to see what you guys have done! <3

Zoya Ali

It's Pink Wednesday today! I noticed I'm not the only one wearing hot pink today... lots of other bloggers participating chose it too! I chose Ali from Zoya's La-Di-Da collection. I got this in their recent exchange and am very happy with this polish! It's a blindingly bright hot pink...my fingers are practically glowing in this pic!

The finish reminds me somewhat of the swatches I have seen of Orly Plastix. This dries semi-matte and good in 1 coat!

Dustin had this design idea (he always thinks of the good ones!). Snakeskin from the new Bundle Monster plates...pretty much the only ones we have been using lately! I had to warm up to the idea, but it turned out  and I am happy with it.

The fun part of this mani is that Dustin mixed in a little Color Club Worth the Risque in with the stamping polish to get a more realistic effect. Even though the holo doesn't show up in the bottle very well (I got a later version of the formula) it definitely adds dimension here!

Here is what we used: Konad stamping polish in black, Color Club Worth the Risque and Bundle Monster plate 215. I pretty much always use Sech Vite, which really brought this look in particular alive!

I made this pic XL so you can really see the holo effect! :P

Well, we are halfway to Friday and only 25 followers away from my 100 follower giveaway...yayy! Have a good day! <3

Pink Wednesday: Kleancolor Holo Pink

Hello again! If any of you happened to be on my blog late last night you probably thought that it was having a spaz attack...I am in the process of a layout revamp! haha I hope you like it...I haven't decided if I'm gonna keep it though.

It's Pink Wednesday today and I finally have a real pink mani to show! Unfortunately I don't have a picture of this color on it's own. But it's a pink jelly with holo glitter throughout. You can see it more in the bottle than on my nails here.

I layered an opaque coat of Sinful Colors Beautiful Girl underneath to brighten the Holo Pink up a bit. Without it, it's virtually nonexistent from a distance.

For the design, I wanted to mix tough with girly. I originally had a skull in this design, but my taste is really more girly so I nixed it. :P But I do like this result! It's Bundle Monster plate 12 and stamped with Konad Black.

This mani was put through the ringer before I got to take pics of it so it could be better! Thanks for looking and I look forward to your pink manis!  :)

Pink Wednesday: My Lifesaver

Hi! Another Pink Wednesday today! I had applied a pink polish before I went to bed the other night and woke up with bubbles and sheet marks...so I said buh-bye! Pink Wednesdays have made me realize that I need more pink polishes...enter Zoya's Earth Day exchange promo! So for now, this look will have to suffice.
This is my favorite color combo EVER! My Lifesaver is from the Beiber Collection from NOPI. This color just makes me happy.

I used a random glitter from Sally Beauty's store line..it is pink, but doesn't show up that way in pics. For stamping we used M54 from Born Pretty store. Dustin colored in the flower with Zoya Lolly.

Next Wednesday is gonna be more pink for sure!
