Jordana Confetti + Savina Purple Confetti

Good evening ladies!

I hope your Monday treated you well...mine went by so quick! I spent the better part of my afternoon swatching, which I find therapuetic. Even more so when I'm watching my guilty pleasure TV shows online! haha

This is a mani that I got from Pinterest. You have probably seen it around if you use Pinterest often. I just loved how absolutely blingy it is! I used Zoya Anaka with 2 coats of Jordana Confetti on top. My accent nail is Savina Purple Confetti.

This was a quick and easy manicure that was super fun to wear. It smoothed out perfectly with a coat of Gelous which made it even more shiny and sparkly! I'm such a girl...haha

Do you guys love blingy nails as much as I do?

Different Dimension Part II Swatches

Happy Friday guys!

I've got the second part to the Different Dimension post from Wednesday for you today. Get ready for more glittery goodness!

On Wednesdays We Wear PINK is a fun one! Although, I'm not sure where that random purple glitter on my middle finger came from. haha I layered one easy coat over Color Club Yum Gum.

Rainbows and Butterflies is so whimsical with it's butterfly shaped glitter. This is 2 coats over Revlon Aloof.

I can't stop looking this macro! So pretty!

This is Selene. The shimmer in this is to die for. I did one coat over Zoya Monica, but this could go over literally anything...love that versatility!

Next is Hanna. This can be a full coverage glitter in 3 coats. Here though, I decided to layer one coat over Sally Hansen Ruby Rush.

One of my favorite combos...here is 2 coats of Gumdrops over Sweet Polish from Born Pretty. I love how awesome the 2 look together!

And finally, this is Rock, Paper, Scissor, Lizard, Spock. I layered one coat over Orly Frisky. I like the mixture of matte and metallic glitters this one has.

Here are the bottle shots of all the pretties I have shown you this week...a little something for everyone, I think!

And an overview of the swatches...you can find more about the other half in this post.

Different Dimension can be purchased on Etsy. And to be in the know on all things Different Dimension, like the Facebook page

Sinful Colors Polar Opposites Magnetic Polish

Good afternoon ladies!

I've got a swatch of one of the semi-new Sinful Colors Magnetics for you today. I know these aren't anything new or exciting, but the shimmer in this one caught my eye. Also, the magnet that comes with this is a ring...I don't think I have seen that concept before.

See what I mean about the shimmer? Love.

My only problem with magnetics is that my nails are so curved the design is kinda tough to get to cover my whole nail. You can sort of see that on my pointer finger.

Do you like magnetics still, or are you over them?

Different Dimension Swatches Part I

Hey readers!

I hope you are having a fab Wednesday. Halfway through the week!

I've got some eye candy from Different Dimension for you today! I have been admiring this shop from afar for a while now and am so happy to finally get the chance to try some out as well as share them with you. I will be featuring Different Dimension's products in 3 separate posts so it doesn't get too overwhelming (in a good way! haha).

Ok! First, is Sparkles Like Edward: a sheer but buildable shimmery base with the cutest combo of small glitters. I did one effortles coat over Essie Navigate Her. This polish will only be around until 11.16, which is the release date of the final Twilight movie...you don't want to miss out on this one!

Shimmery bases like this are my weakness!

Warm Fuzzies is the perfect holo for fall! It's milk chocolate brown. I was able to get full coverage in 2 coats. Here it is in indirect light:

And direct light:

Here, we have My Bear. This is also a milk chocolate-y base but with shimmer as well as bronze and orange glitters. Another great choice for the season! I pretty much had full coverage in one coat with this one which is awesome.

So besides shimmery bases I love cool toned teal colors, so Un-Teal We Meet Again is an automatic fave of mine! And the formula was perfect. This is one coat of it over Kleancolor Pastel Teal. No placing extra glitter or anything...if only all glitters could apply like this one!

Next is Spencer. This is made up of superfine glitters in a slightly red tinted base. This can be layered in one coat or full coverage in 3, which is what I did here. I love the effect the holo glitters in this polish have. Definitely a standout!

And finally, we have Fall Me Maybe...cute name! I layered one coat over Banana Republic Plum Pudding. This one looks to have dried a little bumpy, but that's nothing that some Gelous can't fix! I love this color combo...obviously perfect for fall. :)

Here's a little recap of my swatches:

Do you have any favorites from the group?

Different Dimension can be purchased on Etsy. And to be in the know on all things Different Dimension, like the Facebook page! And for a bit of incentive, there is a 20% off code good till midnight tonight. Find it on the Facebook page! ;)

Stayed tuned for Part II coming soon!

LCN Urban Expression Set Swatches

Good morning readers!

I've got a fall collection from LCN to show you today called Urban Expressions. LCN says this collection showcases the style of style capitals from around the globe. Let's take a look!

Just as a note, all of these just barely needed 2 coats. And I will be using LCN's descriptions of these shades because they are better than anything I can say. :P

New York Beat is described as a stormy gray- green.

Paris Chic is a timeless nougat beige.

London Glam is a delicate rose-smoke.

Tokyo Expressions is a steely titanium gray.

So even though it wouldn't be very hard to find dupes of these polishes, the quality can't be beat in terms of formula. LCN does a great job making polish that is easy to work with and doesn't require too many coats.

The LCN Urban Expressions collection is currently available for purchase *here*. You also get a free Color Corrector Pen with your purchase of the set!

Stud Nail Art

Hi polish lovers!

I have a funky manicure to show you this evening. I recently tried out these studs from Born Pretty Store after seeing a few similar manis on some blogs. My polish inspiration comes from this blog! She's a great one to follow if you aren't already.

So my base is Zoya Ali and my accent is China Glaze Gr8 and Orly Sashay My Way. I think the smaller size of studs that Born Pretty offers would have looked a little more natural (as natural as studs can look on nails. haha). But I was surprised at how much I liked the overall look!

The studs were very easy to apply and laid pretty flat on my nails.

I think I will be giving the smaller size a try soon! Do you like studs for nails?

You can find these and SO much more for nail art and cosmetics at Born Pretty Store. You can also get 10% off your entire order with this code: AJ10W21. :)

Jindie Nails Santa Claws Collection Swatches Part II

Hey everyone!

I've got the rest of Jindie Nails' Santa Claws collection to show you today! You can see my other swatches and review of this collection *here*. It's no secret that I really love this collection and the final 3 are no different!

There is not 1 but 2 holos in this collection! This is called Blue Blue Xmas. Jen describes this as a royal blue linear holo. This is 3 coats for full coverage. I love this color for a holo!

Next, is Kiss Me Under the Mistletoe. Jen says this is a true red jelly with light and dark green holo as well as some gold holo. Amazing formula and only 2 coats needed!

And finally we have Holly. This is green and white glitters, larger red matte and a dark green shimmer. This took a little work to get the red glitters placed how I wanted them, nothing too crazy though. I layered Holly over Essie No Place Like Chrome. Fun combo!

Here is a little roundup of the entire collection:

As well as swatches in case you missed my first post (linked above):

I have nothing bad to say about this collection. Every single polish is so pretty in it's own way and all are absolutely perfect for the upcoming holiday season!
