Zoya Julie + Lush Lacquer Clowning Around

Hi everybody!

I am happy to be back to blogging after an awesome beach vacation last week. I have fun things coming up including a guest post, some reviews and nail art. Feels good to be back!

So my post for today is a recent mani I wore. This is Zoya Julie and Lush Lacquer Clowning Around which is full of those cool translucent neon glitters. The neon glitters are very thin, unlike any other glitter I have worked with but they came out super easily which was nice.

This is one cool looking bottle shot if I do say so myself. ;)

Are you guys into these neon glitter we are seeing so much of in the indie world lately?

Sinful Colors Beautiful Girl + Lush Lacquer Party Hearty

I have had this polish sitting in my untrieds for a realllly long time (the bitter cycle of never not buying new polish!) and finally got around to wearing it recently!

I have been a longtime fan of Lush Lacquer and I wasn't disappointed in Party Hearty. I layered one coat over Sinful Colors Beautiful Girl. My favorite part of this has to be the shimmer in Party Hearty's base...gorgeous!

I don't think this one is available in the Etsy store anymore but there are tons more pretties where this came from!

More Christmas Manis!

Hey everyone!

It's been a while for me! I took some time off this past week to celebrate the holidays with my family...but I am back now and ready to be back in the normal pattern of life again. :) I'm showing you some holiday looks I wore over the past week. Again, these photos aren't my best and I look forward to being able to truly focus on blogging again  and presenting you with the standard you know from me.

First is Crooked Star from Darling Diva. I layered this over China Glaze Running in Circles which is freaking awesome....everyone needs it!

Next is Tree-mendous from Lush Lacquer layered over Orly Fresh. Still got the broken pinky nail, unfortunately.

And finally, a little stamping! I don't do this enough anymore. This is such a fun look but my topcoat smeared it. :(

I will probably have another post like this to wrap up my holiday manis and then I will be back to what I do best, hopefully!

Hope you all had a wonderful holiday!

Winter Fail Manis :)

Good evening everyone!

This post is a bit out of my comfort zone...manis I'm not so proud of. haha I broke a nail and so some of these pics leave the pinky out... and that doesn't look very good. The photography is not my personal best either. But I can't stand not posting what I took time to paint and take pics of, so here they are anyway!

This is Kleancolor Winter Wonderland. I have to say that I think this is one of my favorite Kleancolors. I love the combo of colored glitters in the fleck-y base. This photo doesn't do it justice.

Next is Lush Lacquer's Snow Angel. This is so pretty and could work for a topper any time of the year. I layered this over OPI The Spy Who Loved Me. Perfect for Christmas, I think!

And finally, this is China Glaze Winter Holly (LOVE this glitter!) with an accent nail of OPI Goldeneye (SUPER sparkly!) with an argyle design stamped on top. You can't tell me this 3 finger thing isn't weird...it's throwing me off just looking at it! haha

Alright, so now you know that I am not perfect (although I strive for it when it comes to this blog!). haha But I liked the manis enough to share. Thanks for loving me even when I post weirdness like tonight! :)

Lush Lacquer Ho Ho Holidays + Glitter Nail Art

Hello!

My trend this week seems to be posting in the evenings. Better late than never, right? :)

I really liked this mani...my husband on the other hand, not so much. haha He's such a perfectionist about my blog sometimes and my not so great paint job on this mani was a bit bothersome to him. At least he cares! haha

Anyway, I used China Glaze I'm With the Lifeguard over a white base and then layered Lush Lacquer Ho Ho Holidays over that. My accent nail is China Glaze Poinsettia with some green holo glitters placed along the length of my nail. I wanted to go into more detail placing these glitters in a more intricate design, but my patience was running thin working with them!

How perfect is Ho Ho Holidays for Christmas time?!

Happy Thanksgiving to those in the US! I hope you all have a great, relaxing day full of family and yummy food!

My mani is pretty simple today. I have one more fall look to show you soon as well. This is China Glaze Kalahari Kiss and Lush Lacquer After All, It's Fall!

Very holiday appropriate, right? haha

Thank you for reading!

Lush Lacquer Hey Jack! + Nail Decal

Hello readers!

It's been a chill Saturday for me. I spent my afternoon doing some swatching but I was barely hanging on to good lighting since it was overcast all day.

I've got another Halloween mani to  show you tonight. I layered 1 coat of Hey Jack! from Lush Lacquer over Zoya Mira. Very fun contrast! I had some decals from Rue 21 that I never used from last year that I used for an accent nail. I was very surprised these were still usable after so long!

Hey Jack! Is the perfect Halloween polish!

Did any of you get any polishes from Lush Lacquer's Halloween collection?

Kleancolor Metallic Pink + Lush Lacquer Pink Panther

Good morning!

I hope you all had an awesome weekend! It's never long enough for me. :)

You will probably notice that my blog got a makeover...more info on that in a later post! I am still ironing out a few details but I am loving it!

I have a very pink layering combo to show you today. This is Kleancolor Metallic Pink and Lush Lacquer's Pink Panther. I feel like my base color overwhelmed Pink Panther a bit but it's still a cute girly look, which I am always a fan of!

Lush Lacquer is debuting 19 new colors for Halloween/ Fall today and I am SO excited to see them. I have loved pretty everything I have seen from them in the past and I am sure I will feel the same about these. You can check out Lush Lacquer's Etsy shop *here*.

China Glaze Sexagon + Lush Lacquer Midnight Affair

Hey hey! How's all my polish lovers doing tonight? :)

I recently hauled a bunch of minis from Lush Lacquer, one of my favorite indie sellers out there. They have a huge selection of polishes that are always in stock. I recently decided that buying minis is what works for me when purchasing indie polish because I know I will never use up an entire full size bottle!

So tonight I am showing you Lush Lacquer Midnight Affair layered over ChG Sexagon. I love layering glitters over the China Glaze Kaleidoscope polishes. When I first started collecting polish, it felt like a sin to layer over a precious holo! haha But I am so glad I tried it because the effect is definite eye candy! Anyway, Midnight Affair wasn't a total breeze to apply, but any headache is so worth it. Plus topcoat makes it all ok in the end. Just look at this...SO pretty!!

Just looking at this makes me happy. What a gorgeous polish.

And in case you are wondering, this is the mani that I experimented using my glue base coat for!

So tell me what you think about Lush Lacquer Midnight Affair!

Lush Lacquer Dreamsicle + Gradient

Good morning readers!

Can I just say that I am dying for the China Glaze Summer Neons collection? I am getting really antsy waiting for it to show up at my Sally's!!

Now that that's out of the way...on to today's mani! :)

This is yet another indie polish from Lush Lacquer. I previously showed you another polish of their's, Chubby Checker, *here*. This one is called Dreamsicle. It's a sheer blue base with pink shimmer with silver and turquoise glitters throughout. I did a sponging gradient using OPI Fly and Sally Hansen Insta Dri Blue Away and topped it all of with one coat of Dreamsicle.

Sadly, this is one that you gotta fish around a little for the bigger glitters. Plus I don't think I did this polish justice by doing only one coat. 3 coats looks a lot like Sinful Colors Cinderella but with glitter. Very pretty!

Don't these close up shots just make you happy?

Mmmm...love it!

I hope to wear this one again as a full coverage manicure instead of just layering so I can do this gorgeous polish full justice!!
