Hey polish lovers!
How many of you have heard of Windestine before? This is an indie brand that I have had little experience until now and I'm happy to be able to share the spring collection with you today!
First is TBA...a chocolate brown creme with holo bits in it. This also has a pink flash to it, which you will see in my close up shot. Very pretty! I believe I did 3 coats below.
Jacquimo is a pinky-peach shade with the same holo-y bits that TBA has. This color reminds me of my favorite blush shade from Milani called Luminoso. Very flattering! I did 3 coats.
Next is Pond Patrol. I did 3 coats to get full coverage. No underwear needed! Pretty impressive! I think this is a very unique polish. Definitely not something you see all the time. I really love the way the pastel glitters look in the green base.
Crushed Rose is the only true glitter topper in the collection. I layered 2 coats over Orly Lemonade. What a fun combo and perfect for springtime! I don't usually go for shredded glitters, but this one definitely works for me.
Next is Inner Glow. What a gorgeous nude polish! And check out the holo glitters in there! This is my kind of nude shade...neutral but so not boring.
This is Twirling Upwards. This to me is sort of like China Glaze Trendsetter. A shade that not everyone is gonna like, but for those that do, will love it! It's not your typical polish color (reminds me of peanut butter! haha) but it works! This is 3 coats on it's own.
Alright! So here's a quick recap for ya:
I think this is a truly cohesive collection and a creative interpretation of springtime shades. I am reminded of nature starting all over again after a long winter when I see these (my husband made fun of me for that comment, but it's what I see! haha). Windestine is a brand to keep on your radar for sure!
