An Exciting Announcement!

Hello again everyone!

Dustin and I have been working hard the past few months to put together a website that will provide franken supplies that are typically harder to find. We have the XXL and XL stamping plates there also! There will also be a few other things as time goes on. We are expecting a shipment of magnetic polish soon!

This way I don't have to bug you guys on my blog and have it totally devoted to nail polish and nail art. I will be featuring products from the site every once in a while, and we hope to be reaching out to bloggers in the near future to help us spread the word.

Our site's name is:

And you can find the site *here*.

We would love for you to take a look and tell us what you think. The site is simple, and probably still needs to be tweaked a little. If you do see something that looks wrong, please contact me!

Thanks for your support, and spread the word! :)

Poptart Inspired Nails!

Hi ladies!

Today's mani came out unintentionally to look like a strawberry Poptart. My sister pointed it out and I couldn't stop thinking about Poptarts when looking at my nails after that.

{source}

The base is Sinful Colors White on White and OPI Rainbow Connection is in the middle, with one thin coat of Essie Marshmallow on top. I am loving the effect the Essie gives Rainbow Connection. I think it makes wearing a  chunky glitter like that more doable for everyone!

Now how many of you are craving a Poptart? haha

Dr.'s Remedy Jolly and Joy Holiday Collection + Holiday Nail Art

Hi everyone! It's officially the holiday season. How exciting! Did any of you snag some good deals on Cyber Monday? I know I did!

I am showing you the Dr.'s Remedy Jolly and Joy collection today. All of these were opaque in 2 coats, and the colors are original, but still perfect for the season.

First up is SERENE Silver Glitter. This isn't just any silver glitter though, there is red and blue glitter throughout the formula as well! LOVE this one!

Next is RESOLUTION Red Glitter. This is definitely more of a pink overall, but there is red glitter in this polish as well.

This is REVIVE Ruby Red. This one is very similar to Sally Hansen Insta Dri Ruby Rush. Not the typical holiday red, but still gorgeous and glowing!

And now for the first of the holiday nail art! All designs come from the stamping plates available in the shop tab. How cute is this reindeer?!

This is PASSION Purple, a nice plum shade with some shimmer. I have nothing like this in my collection. So pretty!

And for stamping...snowflakes! Be prepared to see lots of snowflake manis from me because our stamping plates have TONS of different ones!

And finally, ESSENTIAL Emerald. This is another top pick for me because I love green nail polish and have nothing like this one either. This is sort of a jade green with shimmer.

And for the final nail art look, argyle! Reminds me of an elf. haha

What are your thoughts on this collection?

I really like it because the formula is great, and the colors are new and exciting for the holidays!

Dr.'s REMEDY Enriched Nail Polish is available for $17 online at www.remedynails.com

NerdLacquer Polish Review

Hey everyone!

I have taken a little break from posting, since things have been more busy with Thanksgiving. Things may be a little hit or miss in the coming weeks also because my husband has 3 weeks left in his semester and we are moving at the end of it. Blah.

Anyway, I have a fun post for you tonight. Have you heard of NerdLacquer? She has an Etsy shop full of her own awesome custom mixed polishes that you can visit *here*. And I am showing you 2 today!

The first is Don't Panic. This has multi sized dark green glitters in a lighter green tinted base. This is 2 coats and the formula was perfect, especially for a glitter.

And here is Nebula. This has multi colored and sized glitters, including some holo, in a dark maroon base. Very original. This is 2 coats as well. I wish I could have gotten some better pics of this one!

So what do you guys think of NerdLacquer?

These polishes are $8/bottle ( I am currently eyeing Don't Blink!) which is much more reasonable than other custom polish makers out there. ;)

Thanksgiving Mani!

Hey lovely readers!

I am in an automatic good mood because our Thanksgiving holiday has officially begun! My sister is coming today and tomorrow we will enjoy some yummy food. Can't wait!

This is my manicure to celebrate the day. I entered this as part of a nail art contest, but I'm not sure if it's still happening or not. The base color is OPI Warm and Fozzie. I used feathers just like a previous manicure I had done, but this time we added a turkey face to the thumb! Silly, but cute.

I have enjoyed seeing all of your Thanksgiving manicures too. What are you thankful for? I am defnitely thankful for you amazing group of bloggers and readers that I can also call friends. This little community can't be beat! :)

Vintage Roses Nail Art

Hi again!

I think I will end up posting 3 times today...too much? I hope not! :)

I have seen different versions of this design all over the nail blogging world, and I wanted to give it a try.  This color combo is definitely one of my faves. All of these designs come from our new plates (you can check those out in the shop tab). The dots are filled in with a nail art pen.

Ring and thumb fingers: Orly Flirty stamped with Sally Hansen Fast-Dri Teal-y Fast.
All the rest:: Teal-y Fast as the base and Konad white for stamping.

I can't wait to use this color combo again!

Zoya Tamsen + Nail Art

Hey!

I feel like it's been forever since I have blogged! This weekend has been nonstop, but I am so looking forward to this Thanksgiving break to make up for that.

This mani is simple, but fun...maybe more appropriate for summertime though. The base is Zoya Tamsen and the design comes from one of our stamping plates we have for sale. Our first shipment should be arriving this week!

Hopefully life lets me keep posting regularly, since you lovely readers in the blogging world are the ones who keep me sane! haha

Gold Skittles with NOPI Khloe Had a Little Lam-Lam

Hello readers!

I am on day 3 of this mani! I think that's a record, seriously! I used Out the Door fast dry topcoat and it still looks perfect. :)

So the base for this is Nicole by OPI Khloe Had a Little Lam-Lam from the Kardashian collection. This pic is from my swatch post of this collection. I am so obessed with this color! It's a one coater. And the creme shade is so unique. The fact that I have had this on for almost 3 days without getting sick of it is definitely saying something!!

My mani inspiration comes from a fellow blogger that I follow. I tried so hard to remember which one and I just couldn't. So if you happen to know who this idea came from, I would love to give them credit!

Middle finger: Claire's Gold Glitter topcoat as the base and striping tape used to make the design.
Ring: Milani Jewel FX in Gold
Thumb: ELF Golden Goddess

I will probably take this off today, but even if I had to wear it for a week I wouldn't be complaining. ;)

Born Pretty Store Accessories

Hi everyone!

I just wanted to share with you a purchase I made recently from Born Pretty Store. They have more than just nail art supplies. They also have some super cute jewelry and hair accessories. Because they have such great prices I was able to get a good amount of things for a little over $20! I know it helps to see this stuff on other places besides the website before purchasing so hopefully this helps someone.

The first thing I got was a Hello Kitty bling necklace. Adorable! The chain is longer than I was expecting, but that's not a huge issue. You can find this and many other HK items *here*.

The next thing I purchased was these earrings. They remind me of something from Tiffany's (one day maybe!), for now these work! ;) I wore these a couple days ago...love 'em! You can find these *here*.

This hair clip is a new fave of mine. I have been wearing it to keep my bangs out of my face when they bother me. It stays put really well and adds a little extra something to your look. You can find this *here*.

If you have been following my blog for a while, you know I love bows and bling and these hair ties combine both! There are a bunch of colors to choose from, but I only got 2. Can't wait to wear these with a wavy side pony! You can find these hair ties *here*.

And finally, I got this headband. I love the cute design and fall colors. So far, it doesn't seem like it will pinch my head, which most headbands usually do to me. You can get this *here*.

And because I wasn't picture ready at the time, my little Taylee is modeling this headband. She is still in her PJ's here, but you get the idea. <3

I definitely plan on purchasing more cute accessories from Born Pretty in the future. They are such an easy and cheap way to update your wardrobe. My order only took 3 weeks to get here from China and free shipping with no minimum worldwide is always a plus! I have a coupon code that can help you too: AMBERL73 gets you 10% off!

Have any of you tried Born Pretty accessories or do you plan to?

*These items were purchased by me and reviews are not influenced in any way.
