Hey guys! I hope your Sunday has been as uplifting and restful as mine has! :)
Today I have a special treat for you...I have been mentioning that our online venture, You Mix Cosmetics, will soon have magnetic polishes, so today I am showing you the shades we are in the process of putting up on the site right now!
We are offering 36 colors! It's hard to tell from the nail wheels, but they are all different even though a few are very similar. Some have glitter, others have some sparkle or shimmer.
So here are a few swatches to show the different magnet designs we are going to offer. These colors don't have names, we haven't decided if they will or not (thoughts welcome!!), so for now these are numbered.
This is #3. A deep red shimmer, with a cranberry hue highlighted by the magnet. The magnet used here is supposed to make the lines radiating from the center of the nail.
This next one is a favorite of mine, #31. This is a violet, almost periwinkle shade. There is some blue sparkle in there as well. As you can see, the magnet used makes diagonal lines in the polish.
This is #15, a toasted brown shimmer with golden glitter. The magnet used forms straight across lines.
Finally, here is #31. A gorgeous teal shimmer. The magnet pattern here creates an irregular wave throughout the polish.
These are the magnets. Right now, none come with the polish so you have to get these seperate, but that may change in the future. These will be about $3. If you order, your's won't be as beat up as these...these are my personal ones! :P
The polishes will be $8/bottle. We hope to have them all up in the very near future! Right now, there are a few up already, but no magnets. Thanks for being patient and I would love to hear your thoughts!
Love them!! #3 rocks!
ReplyDeleteOMGGG that pink between the green and purple on the top pic I WANT IT!!!!!! Those are all gorgeousssss
ReplyDeleteThey're great! I'm excited!
ReplyDeleteI can't wait til you get these! It's Sonia (diamondxdust) btw. I got the big image plate yesterday and I love it!!!
ReplyDeleteI can't wait til you get more up! Love your site!
These are so pretty omg! ^^ I love the pink one, it's so bright!
ReplyDeleteI am really excited! All of the magnetic polish is so expensive.... You are offering it at a very, very reasonable price!
ReplyDeleteGorgeous colors!! I love so many of them. And I really like the straight across stripes. Excellent work! :)
ReplyDeleteWhat an amazing range of colors! And so affordable too! I'm certainly excited!
ReplyDeleteOMG!!! i can't wait until the purples and greys come out. so excited!!!!
ReplyDeleteYou have 2 of them listed as #31-the periwinkle and the teal. Love the colors! Wondering how much the magnets are going to cost?
ReplyDeletegorgeous colors! I like those 2 irregular magnets, I haven't seen any like that before!
ReplyDeleteThose look beautiful. I definitely think you should name the polishes... I know I can remember polishes better when they have names, and names are just fun, too. I've read that a lot of bloggers and polish collectors feel the same way - a name makes a polish feel more "special." You just have to decide if you want to stick with a specific theme for your names or if you don't mind having a motley assortment of name types. If you don't want to come up with all the names yourselves, maybe you could do a naming contest with your followers?
ReplyDeleteOoooOOh, I'd love to get my greedy little hands on a few of these. They look great! The irregular magnets are very unique too. The only thing that I'm not sure is necessary are the two straight line magnets. I mean to get the lines diagonal or horizontal, one just needs to use the same magnet on a different angle.
ReplyDeleteI love the shades and the new patterns of magnets!
ReplyDeleteGood job!
And plese give them names! And make them available internationally
Oh my, love them all, do you offer shipping to the UK?
ReplyDeleteSuper Exciting - and your release is going to beat the ones coming from CG in time as well as price!
ReplyDeleteThese are so stunning!!! Oh, please name them :)
ReplyDeleteOmigosh WOW! these are amazing! I never really 'got' the magnetic thing until I saw these and now i really want one!
ReplyDeleteI agree. I remember polish names, but never remember numbers, I love #15 it reminds me of tigers eye stone.
ReplyDeleteLove your colors. If you need anyone to do swatches/reviews just contact me. ;D
ReplyDeleteSeriously though, can't wait for these! Love your magnets, too!
I am in love with #31, I think I'll just have to buy it when it comes out!!
ReplyDeleteHey could you vote for me to be the next Rimmel 10? I'm Megan M. All the infos on my blog!

wow, look at those awesome colors!!
ReplyDeleteW♥w! These are really amazing!!
ReplyDeleteLove them!
SHEEEESH! I want all of those!!! And with names, definitely!!!!! How about naming them after different gemstones? Like the garnet, amethyst, topaz and tourmaline - according to their colour? Or another thing that comes to mind with magnetic polish is science and metals - like aluminium, iron, cobalt and so on. Or how about the chemical elements in general (remember those periodical tables from the school)? There's definitely a bit of mad professor in the magnetic-polish making (or is it me who's mad here...). I'd love to see polishes named uranium, mercury, sulphur, nitrogen or strontium... I could just go on and on....
ReplyDeletewow... 36 colors??? OMGGG! I'm ordering asap.. and I will definitely put a review on my blog!
ReplyDeleteoh my gosh!!!!!!!!!!Those are gorgeous and half the price of the other ones on the market. I can not wait for you to have them out. I will definitely have to show them on my blog! I am excited!!! Also I love that you will sell the magnets separate - that way I won't feel wasteful since I will be able to get each and use any of them with the polish.
ReplyDeleteToo bad there's no shipping to Brazil... I wanted them badly :(
ReplyDeleteThey are so beautiful and I just recently bought my very first magnetic and I freaking love it
ReplyDeleteToo bad you don't ship in my country or maybe this is a good thing because I would bought more than a half of the shades ;)
