Born Pretty Review Series: Glitter Gradient Polish Set

Hey ladies! Has everyone recovered from the holiday weekend? I know I was definitely happy to have a day to recover today! I am almost through all of the Born Pretty nail art products I want to show you! Hope you haven't gotten sick of 'em! :)

I am showing you the Pink Gradient glitter polish set today. I was most excited about trying this one out and had been eyeing it on the website for a while. The thing I love about this is that it makes a gradient look foolproof! These go really well together, but can also be used separately for more fun looks.

I was a little confused when I got these because the bottles look different on the website than the ones I was sent. Minor detail though!

So here is a step by step of the gradient process all taken before cleanup. To know where put what shade of glitter, I used the cardinal rule of dividing my nail into thirds to create a nice gradient. At first I thought it wasn't going to work out, but the color goes on darker and then dries to a lighter shade blending seamlessly.

And here is the final look! So pretty! This is with one coat of Seche Vite since it dries pretty gritty. I could have used another coat, but at the rate I do my nails, I don't need long term staying power.

These also come in purple and teal. I really want to try the teal next since it's my favorite color! The price on these is a little steep in my opinion at $12.40 for the set. To me, it's almost worth it especially if you like a quick, easy, and original mani. What do you guys think? <3

  3. I love this idea! I've seen other ones that don't really look like a gradient when finished but this one really does! Awesome!

  5. I'm glad you like it! I couldn't stop looking at my nails and I almost didn't want to take it off when I did, but I can't NOT do my nails for very long. haha
