Orly Bubbly Bombshell

Hey readers! I am back after a weekend without posting...we have been doing some major spring cleaning this weekend and it's far from being done so my nails have become a lesser priority at the moment. We finally got around to them yesterday though!

This is Bubbly Bombshell from Orly's Pin-Up collection. I also got Here Comes Trouble which is the green glitter. I love love love these glitters! I wish that one of the 2 pink creams in the collection had been a glitter. So now I am looking for a hot pink glitter with full coverage. If anyone knows of one please tell me!!

There are much better swatches out there than these, but that's ok!

There are different sized glitters in this polish and it covers in 3 coats. That said it was a little difficult to work with. You can tell by all the stray glitters around my nail!

We finally settled on black tips using ELF Black polish and the bow design from Konad plate M56. Then we added rhinestones from Born Pretty store.

We had a hard time capturing the truest form of how this mani looks in person, but I think it turned out alright. Seche Vite  is the best topcoat to use with this type of polish. It smoothes everything out and makes it extra sparkly!

Detail of the thumb:

So there you have it! Also, as of this morning, I have reached 101 followers! So exciting! Stay tuned for my giveaway beginning tomorrow!!! <3

China Glaze 2Nite

Hey everyone! I hope you are all having a great Friday! Mine is being spent cleaning. How fun. :P

I have another holo from China Glaze's OMG collection for you today!! This 2Nite. I think it is the second best in terms of strength of the holographic next to OMG. Even in not so great lighting this polish is crazy! I don't normally do this, but I made the pictures in this post XL so you guys can really see the holo detail.

I am so in love with this color too...it's just like China Glaze Secret Periwinkle only holo-fied!

The design today is more simple and I think it's too similar to what I did when I wore OMG last week, but it's still a fun look.

We used Bundle Monster plate 205, stamped with Konad white, and filled in the flowers with a dotting tool using NOPI My Lifesaver, Kleancolor Pastel Yellow, and Sinful Colors Summer Peach.

And another angle, just to show off more holo!

Thank you for reading...you guys are the best! Have a great weekend!

Zoya Pippa & Cinco De Mayo!

Hey ladies! My sister texted me with a request for a Cinco De Mayo mani, so I thought why not? And then once I thought about what I could do I was pretty stumped! I use stamping designs as the basis for inspiration and out of the 75+ plates I own...nothing! So Dustin came up with the freehand design you are about to see.

The base color for the look is Zoya Pippa, a creamy, sunny yellow.

Here is what he came up with:

I wasn't a huge fan of it, but I was pretty sure that you guys would get a kick out of it. :)
We used Bundle Monster Stamp 201 with a random no- name polish picked up at Ross, and the rest is freehand.

Well I hope you liked it, because today was just for you! ;) Thanks for reading!

Zoya Ali

It's Pink Wednesday today! I noticed I'm not the only one wearing hot pink today... lots of other bloggers participating chose it too! I chose Ali from Zoya's La-Di-Da collection. I got this in their recent exchange and am very happy with this polish! It's a blindingly bright hot pink...my fingers are practically glowing in this pic!

The finish reminds me somewhat of the swatches I have seen of Orly Plastix. This dries semi-matte and good in 1 coat!

Dustin had this design idea (he always thinks of the good ones!). Snakeskin from the new Bundle Monster plates...pretty much the only ones we have been using lately! I had to warm up to the idea, but it turned out  and I am happy with it.

The fun part of this mani is that Dustin mixed in a little Color Club Worth the Risque in with the stamping polish to get a more realistic effect. Even though the holo doesn't show up in the bottle very well (I got a later version of the formula) it definitely adds dimension here!

Here is what we used: Konad stamping polish in black, Color Club Worth the Risque and Bundle Monster plate 215. I pretty much always use Sech Vite, which really brought this look in particular alive!

I made this pic XL so you can really see the holo effect! :P

Well, we are halfway to Friday and only 25 followers away from my 100 follower giveaway...yayy! Have a good day! <3

Zoya Areej

Hello again! I wanted to thank those of you who have voted for my nail art contest entry...even though it's pretty obvious I don't stand a chance!! haha

I have been wearing this mani for 2 days now... a record! It's only because we have been so busy lately...but I think Areej is a pretty good color to get stuck with for 2 days. ;) By now you all know that Areej is from Zoya's Summertime collection. This went on in one coat...always a huge plus! I can't remember who it was but recently a blogger compared this shade to Barney...and once I thought about it, it really does look like Barney! haha

Here is this design that Areej inspired. A jewel toned peacock look! The only downside is that this mani was ridiculously hard to photograph. I think it's because of the gold we used to stamp? Hopefully ya'll get the idea anyways!

What we used: Orly Luxe and Konad black to stamp. Details added with Zoya Breezi and Mira as well as an unamed green from Love and Beauty (Forever 21). Bundle Monster plates used: 212 and 15.

Again, sorry for the not so great pics! These are from a second round of trying to capture this look!

I hope you like it and thank you for reading!!
